Can I take Isagenix products if I’m on a blood thinner?

blood_thinnerMany patients on anticoagulant therapy have used Isagenix products to their advantage for helping to support weight loss and improved health. We have seen mixed results in regards to Pt levels of patients on the program, but the majority of patients have experienced thinner blood requiring adjustment to medication.

Herbal ingredients, certain vitamins and fish oil (when taken as part of the program) may serve as minor factors; however, change in diet may be of principal influence. Customers who begin using our products, in general, reduce calories significantly, especially on Cleanse Days. In addition, amounts of carbohydrates are reduced.

Our recommendations to those on anticoagulants is consultation with a physician before making any changes to diet and, when beginning a program, to have Pt levels checked weekly.
