PrintLisa DeMayo’s Top 5 Skincare Tips

Rejuvity skincare system

Skincare fanatic Lisa DeMayo stands by the Rejuvity skincare system.

Lisa DeMayo’s glowing skin has many people asking her, “What skincare do you use?” A previous top 20-income earner for a leading skincare company, she knows the beauty market well and has tried numerous creams, serums, and cleansers. But there isn’t any confusion over what skincare products she holds as the gold standard.

“The Isagenix Rejuvity® skincare system is like no other skincare system out there—it’s free of harmful chemicals, contains ingredients supported by science, and actually works,” she shared at the Isagenix “Strength in Momentum” Celebration event in San Diego on August 25.

Consider the evidence from a clinical study evaluating the efficacy of the Rejuvity Essential Youth Serum™: Over 95 percent of users showed clinically measured improvement in skin texture and moisturization, and 81 percent showed clinically measured improvement in the appearance of crow’s feet, fine lines, and wrinkles.

These outcomes support what Lisa has experienced herself as a devout Rejuvity user. Now an Isagenix Millionaire Panel member and life and leadership coach, Lisa confidently shares the Isagenix Rejuvity skincare line with everyone she comes in contact with including at the Science Talks audience at Celebration.

Here are her top five skincare tips for achieving ageless skin with the Rejuvity system:

1. Hydrate.

Dehydration causes wrinkles and fine lines to become more prominent, Lisa said. Think of what happens when a grape loses its content of water—the result is a wrinkled raisin. A good rule of thumb is to drink half your body weight in ounces of water throughout the day. (For a 150-pound person, that would be 75 ounces of water.)

In addition to drinking water, it’s important to use skincare products that won’t strip your skin of moisture. Rejuvity’s Purifying Cleanser doesn’t have harsh chemicals (such as sodium lauryl sulfate or SLS) or fragrances that can lead to dry, scaly skin. Instead, its natural surfactant properties break down oils and impurities and separate them from skin without interfering with its natural moisture barrier.

2. Wear sunscreen every day.

Up to 90 percent of visible skin aging is caused by sun damage (1). Wearing sunscreen on sunny days is only part of the solution, Lisa said. Even on cloudy days, up to 80 percent of the sun’s harmful UV rays can penetrate skin (2). That’s why it’s important to protect skin year around.

Isagenix makes sun protection easy by creating Rejuvity Moisturizing Day Cream with SPF 15. It provides superior sun protection with zinc oxide and titanium oxide that act as physical barriers by preventing the absorption of both UVA and UVB rays (3). You won’t find that with chemical sunscreens on the market that provide no real protection from the sun’s “aging” UVA rays, Lisa said. In addition to wearing daily sunscreen, she’s a firm believer of applying Isa SunGuardTM for added protection on days spent in the sun at the beach, gardening, or hiking.

3. Get into a routine.

It can seem daunting to figure out how and when to best use the seven Rejuvity skincare products, but it becomes second nature when you establish a routine. In fact, it takes about 60 days to form a habit (4), so don’t give up if it’s a challenge.

It’s all about making Rejuvity fit into your lifestyle, Lisa shared. For example, she lets her skin absorb the Essential Youth Serum while brushing her teeth and then applies the Moisturizing Day Cream. She also reapplies the Hydrating Toner after putting on makeup for a youthful glow. Although there are general guidelines indicated on the Rejuvity bottles, how the products are used can be customized depending on skin type. Getting into the habit of consistently nourishing skin is an important way to keep it healthy and looking ageless.

4. Don’t forget your neck, chest, and hands.

Skincare is not just about your face. Age lines and spots on the neck, chest, and hands are usually the first signs of skin aging because these areas are neglected with most skincare routines. “Share Rejuvity with the rest of your body!” Lisa said to the audience. It’s as easy as using an extra pump or two of the Essential Youth Serum or Renewing Night Cream and extending application from the face down to the neck and chest. She also suggests rubbing leftover product on fingertips to the back of each hand.

5. Lather with care.

Some times it feels necessary to aggressively scrub off excess dirt, oil, or makeup. But that can do more harm than good. In fact, harsh scrubbing can tear pores and cause scaring, Lisa explained.

The gentle nature of the Rejuvity Bamboo Exfoliating Polish helps cleanse skin without causing damage. Unlike other exfoliators that can feel like sand paper against skin, this non-irritating scrub contains bamboo particles that are smoothed using a proprietary process to ensure a gentle cleanse. Additionally, the oat kernels, sugar cane, and bilberry in the product help hydrate skin and provide antioxidants (5).

The Rejuvity skincare line complements the Isagenix solution for healthy aging. Lisa said it best: “Nourish your body on the inside with Isagenix foods and dietary supplements. Nourish your body from the outside with Rejuvity.”
